Let What's Inside Out On World Mental Health Day

This World Mental Health Day we want you to #LetWhatsInsideOut. Here's how:

Watch the film

CALM is taking over cinemas across the UK with a 30-second film that drives home the benefits of letting what’s inside out. Made in collaboration with Havas and Big Buoy, the film shows how opening up really can make all the difference — and urges audiences to reach out to friends, family or the life-saving CALM webchat and helpline.

You don’t have to head to the big screen, watch #LetWhatsInsideOut right here, right now. Then share it with your mates. Popcorn optional.

Reach out

We know it's not always easy, but chatting to a friend, family member or the CALM helpline can make all the difference when you're feeling low. Worried about someone? Share the CALM helpline number (0800 58 58 58). Find out more about our services here.

Join a collective

At CALM we believe in getting people together around the things they love to make connections, create communities, and further the movement against suicide. That's why we've introduced Collectives - spaces online and in real life to do just that. So far we've got Running, Cycling, Football and Art Collectives - got an idea for another. Let us know.

Buy a tee

We’ve all heard the saying wear your heart on your sleeve, but what about your care label? We like to keep our kicks white and our tees crisp, but when it comes to looking after ourselves, we’re not always so stringent. Topshop and Topman’s new Care Sewn In collection of tees, sweats and hoodies is an alternative look at self care. Head on over to the Topshop and Topman sites or one of 15 stores nationwide to nab yourself some new threads. £5 of all sales go to CALM, so you’ll be helping to save-lives too.

Join the movement

While international ‘days’ come and go, our movement against suicide is always rolling. There’s loads of ways to get involved - run, swim, paint, throw a gig, or volunteer. Got an idea? We want to hear it. The sky’s the limit when it comes to TeamCALM. Find out more about joining the movement against suicide here.
