The CALM Lock-In Sessions: Five nights of virtual live music

It’s an utterly weird time right now. For music lovers everywhere, things are a bit offbeat. Cancelled festivals, gigs, and [insert music gathering here] everywhere, means the way we enjoy live performances has changed.

But many artists are adapting and the new normal has become Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook lives. With the success of the CALM Lock-In, we thought it only right to get together with our friends at Hand In Hive for five nights of epic entertainment in the form of live music as part of our Lock In Sessions.

We’ve been working with record label Hand and Hive since The Great Escape Festival in 2018. Right now, we should be off to Brighton again to enjoy live gigs from artists including A.O. Gerber and Blackaby, but as that's not possible, we took the gigs online instead.

From the indie vibes of Swimming Tapes to the spectral sounds of TV Priest, the amazing line-up bought an eclectic mix of music every night, all while supporting CALM’s services. The music was incredible, but the highlight was the money raised will fund 15 potentially life-saving calls.

Missed out? We got you covered. You can tune in to each artist’s performance below.
