Do your own thing

Got a talent, hobby, habit, crazy idea, thing you’ve always wanted to do, event you've always wanted to host? You can do it for CALM. And while you’re at it, help fund our life-saving services. It doesn’t matter how much you raise, spreading the CALM message and creating a life less miserable is just as important.

Support in memory

If you’ve lost someone to suicide, doing something in their memory can be a great way to get together and remember them. From running a marathon, to putting on a gig in their honour, do what works for you.

Fundraising faqs

CALM currently spends 80% of its expenditure on delivering our services: that’s answering calls and webchats on our helpline; working with communities across the country; and campaigning for better awareness and understanding of suicide and its devastating impact. Everything else is spent on keeping the charity running and fundraising to ensure we can help the hundreds of thousands of people who need our support every year.

At the moment, the bulk of our funding comes from our amazing supporters – you! We receive a small but hopefully growing proportion of our income from trusts, foundations, local authorities and corporates.
