Fundraising Page tips
for your challenge
1. Add a profile pic
Something as simple as adding a profile picture can boost donations by 23% - easy.
2. Tell your story
Tell people about your challenge and why you're supporting CALM. You could boost donations by 65%!
3. Add your target
Show your supporters what you're aiming for and the impact this could have:
- £8 could fund a potentially life-saving call to our support line
- £51 could help CALM have 100 potentially life-saving conversations through WhatsApp
- £154 could help CALM provide specialist and topical training to a helpline worker
Hit your target? Don't be afraid to increase it!
4. Share share share
Share your page on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, WhatsApp and LinkedIn. You could also add it to your email signature.
5. Ask others to share too
Spread your challenge far and wide by asking friends and family to share your fundraising page with their networks. You never know who might be the next person to donate.
7. Add videos or livestream
Add videos of your training and of you taking on your challenge, or even livestream directly onto your page.
8. Post regular updates
Let your supporters know how you're doing by posting regular updates - hitting fundraising milestones and sharing pics of your challenge are a great ways for people to see your progress.
9. Self donate to get the ball rolling
People who make a donation to their own page raise an incredible 84% more! Self donating shows people you're committed to your challenge, plus people are more likely to donate to pages with fundraising already on.
10. Say thanks!
It's not just about the fundraising - make sure to send a personal thank you to your supporters so that they feel the love too.
Or, to go the extra mile, why not get donations in exchange for posting about what makes the donor so special to you on your social media channels? Share why someone is so important to you someone and your favourite picture of you together in exchange for a donation.
