It can be difficult to know what to do if you’re worried that someone close to you is at risk of suicide. Our helpline is there for everyone, not only those in crisis, so you can call to find out more information on how you can help.

Sorry to hear about your loss. CALM partners with the Support after Suicide Partnership, which offers support to people affected by suicide. If you need any further support or information, please contact us and we’ll try to help as much as we can (we aim to respond to your email within 72 hours).


Anybody can use our services. The helpline and webchat is open to all and can be accessed 5pm to midnight every day, 365 days a year.

No. All calls to the helpline and webchat are confidential and anonymous. We will never ask for names or addresses.

Unfortunately, our webchat is only available for people in the UK. If you are outside of the UK, please use this list of international mental health charities to lookup support in your country.
